When we decide to communicate to the whole church, we realize our people need to know 3 things max each week. Every communication channel: Video Announcements, Email Newsletter, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter all emphasize these things. We have set up a filter of scrutiny that an event to be deemed worthy of the top 3.
The question we ask: Is this event/announcement pertinent to
1) a City-Wide audience?
2) a Church-Wide audience?
3) a Seasonal Fit?
That’s it! If any announcement does not fit into any of those three categories, then it is relegated to space on the website, slide rotation before/after service, concentrated email blasts, and social media.
