Kickstarter campaign that to-date has fully funded one Northrise Student Scholarship and working towards another! Robert Payne, an Arizona Friend of Northrise, launched a unique music project in 2012 for the release of his new album, Sunlight, in which he pledged 100% of sales to Northrise University students! Now, as a result of that promise a Zambian student has received a Northrise University scholarship to assist with their tuition, fees, and meals, a value of $2,400 for the year. This translates to a family having the opportunity to move out of poverty by the support of their university-educated student. This student’s family, friends and extended family will now experience the gospel through the influence of this Christ-centered education. His/her siblings’ horizon just expandedto include the possibility of a higher education for themselves in their future. And their community will be blessed by a highly trained employee of high character working and leading in their neighborhood. And you just thought this was another music album!
